    I bought mine for MGS4 and really haven’t touched it since late July, early August. There are some games I’m interested in but nothing that has me really wanting to buy.

    Part of it is money but it feels too me that the system is too much trying to be like the 360. Especially when the biggest game for the system this Christmas is Resistance 2. And my being not at all interested in FPSs, I’m just not interested.

    Sony I don’t think is going to win this one. Bad press from the start with the initial $599 price tag, lack of quality games as compared to the 360, inferior online.

    The PS3 should have been $400 from the start and they need to stop taking out features like PS2 backwards compatibility. Having that in a way makes your game library bigger for that system.

    All this said it’s kind of good that the 360 has done better because Sony dominated with the PS1 and 2. They were arrogant about the PS3 and have paid for it, Microsoft has been able to jump ahead of them this gen and keep it competitive. If the same thing happens to them with their next system Sony will have learned from it’s mistakes this generation and make a system that will sell like PS2 again. They have lost alot of third party support but they have been releasing many first party titles to make up for it which might pay off down the road.
