Microsoft has announced that the sales of the Xbox 360 have doubled since the recent price drop. As always, we won’t have specific numbers until the NPD hits next month, but it seems that Microsoft is setting themselves up for a big holiday run with a lower priced console and some big hitter games.
If you don’t have an Xbox 360 yet, now is pretty much the best time to get one. You can enjoy quite a bit of the library for a pretty good price, and the holiday lineup is stellar. Just make sure that if you go out and get one that you steer clear of the Arcade pack, it’s a terrible waste of money and Microsoft should be ashamed of themselves for still offering it.
