Activision has announced that sales for Call of Duty 4 has surpassed 10 million copies. They didn’t give a breakdown in numbers, but the 360 version is safely leading the pack.
Well, maybe it would be a good idea to just let Infinity Ward handle all future Call of Duty games, don’t you think? I mean, Call of Duty 3 and Big Red One aren’t horrible, but they’re nowhere near as good as 1, 2, or 4. Infinity Ward did 1, 2, and 4, Activision B teams handled the others.
Seriously though, congratulations to Infinity Ward and everybody else involved in Call of Duty 4. It’s an amazing game and I hope it continues to sell like crazy.
