New Podcast: Jeff Gerstmann and Ryan Davis’ Giant Bombcast

After leaving Gamespot, Jeff Gerstmann and Ryan Davis started up Giant Bomb. Now, as all good gaming sites do, they have started a podcast and you can listen to the first episode now, found here: Giant Bombcast Episode 1

I just listened to it, and really enjoyed it. I like 1up Yours, but I rarely make it through the entire podcast. I liked these guys because I felt like I could potentially listen to it without headphones if I felt like it. At the risk of sounding like a pansy, I think all the eff bombs on 1up’s podcast get old. A lot seem like eff bombs for the sake of eff bombs. I thought Giant Bomb was funny, and engaging, and didn’t drop the eff bomb to play to the crowd. It is also cool that these guys are on there own, and just trying to start something new. Thanks for alerting me to this, and think this will probably be the new site I go to for gaming stuff.

Brand new, and already one of the two or three best gaming podcasts around. These guys know their stuff!

It’s refreshing to hear guys just chatting about stuff, and other things, like Irn Bru, and striking out. Looking forward to them actually talking about GAMES, though….
