As people are picking up their Halo 3 Limited Edition, they are finding that the way Bungie/MS packaged and shipped the discs is causing some serious scratching. In some cases, these scratches are rendering the discs unplayable. The problem is due to a weak plastic nub used to hold the discs in place that doesn’t quite get the job done. It seems that the shaking and movement of shipping is more than enough to toss the discs around. So if you preordered the Limited Edition disc, you may want to open up the package before leaving the store to make sure that your discs are ok. You might be able to swap damaged discs on the spot.
