Sorry everybody, but I had to get some ads running on the site that had a chance of generating some sort of revenue. If I’m going to continue to expand the scope of the site, I’m going to need some funds to do so. Right now I’m using more bandwidth than I planned (breaking a few big stories can do that to you), and if I’m going to start integrating more media into the site, it’s going to start costing me.
If the ads are a major turn off for you, please let me know. You could always adblock them using a Firefox plugin. I would, however, be much happier if you supported the site’s sponsors. Some of the products advertised here are actually pretty cool.
So again, I apologize for the ads. I know that they dirty up the site’s design a bit, but it’s a necessary thing moving forward. If things work out well, and the ads perform better than expected, maybe I can scale them back in the future.

I dunno we all need to have some money right? Just dont do popups and Im cool with it. When are you finishing the hdtv guide?

Don’t worry about it. We all get to a point where we have to find a way to justify the things that take up our time. Hopefully things work out and you can get some scratch for your work. I want to see you do a podcast. You said that you might.

When are you going to make the changes? I want to see a podcast. I listen to them on the way to school. I like the 1up podcasts, but I need more. I read yur cagcast review and checked them out. They are pretty good too.
